Turtle Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box German chocolate cake mix
  • 34 c evaporated milk
  • 34 c butter
  • 1 pkg caramels
  • 12 c evaporated milk
  • 1 12 oz pkg chocolate chips
  • 1 c pecans

Directions

  1. Mix cake mix 34 cup evaporated milk and butter
  2. Pour half of mixture into a 9 x 13-inch greased and floured pan
  3. Bake at 350 for 6 minutes
  4. Melt caramels with 12 cup of evaporated milk in double boiler
  5. Spoon this over cake while hot
  6. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans
  7. Then top with rest of cake mix and bake for 30 minutes at 350
