Toffee Bars

Ingredients

• 1 c shortening may use 12 c butter
• 1 c brown sugar
• 1 egg yolk
• 1 Tbsp vanilla
• 2 c flour
• 12 lb milk chocolate bar
• 12 to 34 c nuts chopped well

Directions

1. Cream shortening and brown sugar together
2. Add egg yolk and vanilla
3. Add by hand flour will be very heavy and dry Grease cookie sheet jelly roll pan works best spread dough in by hand and pat down
4. Bake at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes or less until slightly brown
