Swedish Meatballs

Ingredients

  • 2 lb ground chuck
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 large onion chopped fine
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 14 tsp pepper
  • 1 12 oz jar chili sauce
  • 1 10 oz jar grape jelly
  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Directions

  1. Mix meat eggs onion salt and pepper shape into small balls
  2. Drop raw balls into sauce made from remaining ingredients Gently simmer about 20 minutes until done
  3. These may be frozen and reheated for later use
  4. Serve in a chafing dish for party appetizers
