Sourdough Starter

Ingredients

  • 3 12 c unsifted strong bread flour
  • 1 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 pkg dry yeast
  • 2 c warm water

Directions

  1. Combine flour sugar and yeast in large bowl
  2. Gradually add warm water to dry ingredients and beat until smooth
  3. Cover with plastic wrap let stand in warm place for 2 days
  4. To use in a recipe measure out amount called for in recipe and use as directed
