Sour Cream Cookies

Ingredients

• 12 c shortening
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 c sugar
• 1 egg beaten
• 2 23 c flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 12 tsp baking soda
• 12 tsp salt
• 14 tsp nutmeg
• 12 c sour cream

Directions

1. Beat shortening vanilla and sugar together
2. Add egg and beat well
3. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with sour cream Roll dough 14-inch thick on floured surface
4. Cut with 2-inch cutter
5. Place on greased cookie sheet
6. Bake at 425 about 8 minutes
