Rhubarb Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 c thinly sliced rhubarb
  • 2 c sugar
  • 12 c Crisco
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 tsp soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 c flour
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. Take rhubarb and 12 cup sugar and let set until sugar is completely dissolved
  2. Beat until creamy 1 12 cups sugar Crisco and egg
  3. Add remaining ingredients
  4. Fold in rhubarb mixture and bake at 350 for 45 to 60 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch pan
  5. Use tester to make sure cake is done
  6. A very moist cake
