Pepper Steak

Ingredients
- 1 12 lb round steak cut 12-inch thick
- 14 c all-purpose flour
- 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
- 14 c cooking oil
- 1 8 oz can tomatoes
- 1 34 c water
- 12 c chopped onion
- 1 small clove garlic minced
- 1 Tbsp beef flavor gravy base
- 1 12 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 large bell peppers large dice
- hot cooked rice
Directions
- Cut steak in strips
- Combine flour salt and pepper
- Coat meat strips
- In large skillet saute meat in hot oil until brown on all sides
- Drain tomatoes reserve liquid
- Add tomato liquid and water to meat
- Add onion garlic and gravy base
- Cover and simmer for 1 14 hours until meat is tender
- Uncover
- Add Worcestershire sauce
- Add bell peppers
- Cover and simmer 5 minutes
- Add drained tomatoes
- Cook 5 minutes more
- If thicker sauce is desired thicken with water and flour mixture
- Serve over hot rice
