Pecan Tarts

Ingredients

  • 1 3 oz cream cheese
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c flour
  • 1 egg
  • 34 c brown sugar
  • 1 tsp soft margarine
  • 34 c chopped pecans
  • 18 tsp almond extract
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 14 tsp salt
  • 14 c white syrup

Directions

  1. Mix cream cheese margarine and flour
  2. Roll into ball Chill for 1 hour or overnight Pinch out 8 balls
  3. Press balls into muffin tin with fingers working up to the top
  4. Set aside In a separate bowl beat egg
  5. Add brown sugar and mix well
  6. Add margarine vanilla almond extract white syrup salt and chopped pecans
  7. Put 1 tablespoon of the mixture into each cup
  8. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes
