Peach Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 12 c flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 12 c shortening
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4 Tbsp ice water
  • about 6 large peaches cut in eighths skin on
  • 12 to 23 c sugar
  • 18 tsp cinnamon
  • 12 c sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp flour

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425
  2. Prepare sweet pastry by sifting dry ingredients flour baking powder salt and sugar together
  3. Cut in shortening
  4. Add beaten egg yolk then ice water
  5. Roll out 18 inch thick
  6. Place in a large 10-inch deep pie pan
