M&M Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 c. shortening
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. sugar
• 2 tsp. vanilla
• 1 1/2 c. M&M’s or chocolate chips
• 2 eggs
• 2 1/4 c. flour
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. salt

Directions

1. Blend shortening, brown and white sugar in bowl.
2. Beat in vanilla and eggs.
3. Sift remaining dry ingredients together, add to sugar, egg mixture blending well.
4. Stir in M&M’s.
5. Bake at 325° for 10 minutes.
