Lemon Sauce

Ingredients
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. butter or oleo
- few shakes nutmeg
Directions
- Mix sugar and cornstarch.
- Add water gradually, stirring constantly.
- Boil for 5 minutes.
- Remove from fire and add butter, lemon juice and nutmeg.
- This is great over bread pudding.
