Kahlua

Ingredients

• 1 c instant coffee
• 4 c brown sugar
• 2 c boiling water
• 1 vanilla bean slashed
• 1 fifth rum or brandy

Directions

1. Mix together coffee water and sugar and let cool
2. Combine with vanilla bean and alcohol in a glass jar or bottle
3. Let sit in a dark place at least 4 weeks the longer it sits the better it gets
4. Shake now and then
5. Remove the vanilla bean and store in sealed glass containers
6. Enjoy over ice cream or in coffee
