Irish Soda Bread
Ingredients
- 4 c flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 oz softened butter
- 1 c sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 14 c buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp caraway seed
- 1 c raisins
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350
- Mix all ingredients together until well blended
- Batter will be very stiff
- Place in two loaf pans and bake for 45 minutes
