Heavenly Hash Salad

Ingredients
- 1 large can fruit cocktail
- 1 c. pineapple tidbits
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 carton Cool Whip
- 1/4 c. chopped nuts
- 2 c. miniature marshmallows
- 1 c. mandarin oranges, drained
Directions
- Drain well, reserving syrup from fruit cocktail and pineapple. Combine in saucepan the cornstarch and 1/4 cup sugar.
- Mix well. Combine and add the egg yolks and 1 cup reserved syrup.
- Blend well.
- Cover over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
- Cool thoroughly.
- Fold in Cool Whip, chopped nuts, marshmallows, pineapple, fruit cocktail and mandarin oranges. Cover and chill several hours or overnight.
