Fresh Peach Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 c water
  • 1 3 oz pkg peach flavored jello
  • 3 c sliced peeled ripe peaches
  • 1 9-inch baked pie shell
  • whipped cream optional

Directions

  1. In a saucepan combine sugar cornstarch and water until smooth
  2. Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly and thickened
  3. Remove from the heat stir in jello until dissolved Cool
  4. Arrange peaches in cooled baked crust
  5. Pour filling over peaches
  6. Chill until set about 2 hours
  7. Serve with whipped cream if desired
