Fresh Peach Pie

Ingredients
- 1 c sugar
- 2 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1 c water
- 1 3 oz pkg peach flavored jello
- 3 c sliced peeled ripe peaches
- 1 9-inch baked pie shell
- whipped cream optional
Directions
- In a saucepan combine sugar cornstarch and water until smooth
- Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly and thickened
- Remove from the heat stir in jello until dissolved Cool
- Arrange peaches in cooled baked crust
- Pour filling over peaches
- Chill until set about 2 hours
- Serve with whipped cream if desired
