Cream Puffs

Ingredients
- 12 c shortening
- 1 c boiling water
- 1 c sifted flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
Directions
- Add shortening to boiling water and bring to a boil
- Remove from heat
- Add flour and salt all at once and stir vigorously until ball forms in center of pan
- Cool slightly
- Add unbeaten eggs one at a time beating thoroughly after each egg
- Mixture should be very stiff
- Shape on greased cookie sheet by dropping from spoon or pastry bag
- Bake
- Cook medium size 3-inch for 10 minutes at 450 and 20 minutes at 350
- Cool
- Cut slice off top Fill with cream ice cream or pudding
- Yield 18 medium-size
