Coconut Cream Pie

Ingredients
- 34 c sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- 2 12 Tbsp flour
- 2 12 Tbsp cornstarch
- 3 c milk
- 34 c coconut
- 3 egg yolks beaten
- 1 12 tsp vanilla
- 3 egg whites
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 18 tsp cream of tartar
- 1 9-inch baked pie crust
Directions
- Mix
- together
- flour
- cornstarch
- sugar and salt
- Add milk Cook
- until thick
- Add 12 of the mixture to egg yolks Stir well
- Addother 12 of mixture
- Stir well and return to same saucepan
- Cook 5 minutes longer
- Add coconut and vanilla
- Put in baked pie crust
