Chicken Pot Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 12 c biscuit mix
  • 2 tsp sesame seed
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp hot water
  • 3 Tbsp margarine softened
  • 13 c margarine
  • 12 c biscuit mix
  • 13 c onion chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 14 c chicken broth
  • 23 c milk
  • 2 c cooked chicken
  • 2 12 c mixed vegetables cooked

Directions

  1. Combine the 1 12 cups biscuit mix sesame seed water and the 3 tablespoons margarine
  2. Pat into an 8-inch square or a 9-inch round pan set aside
  3. Melt the 13 cup margarine stir in the 12 cup biscuit mix onion and seasonings
  4. Cook over low heat until bubbly remove from heat
  5. Stir in chicken broth and milk
  6. Heat to boiling and boil 1 minute
  7. Stir in chicken and mixed vegetables
  8. Turn into ungreased 8-inch square baking dish or 9-inch pie plate
  9. Place dough over top
  10. Cut several slits in top and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 425 or until golden
