Caramel Corn

Ingredients

  • 6 qt popped corn
  • 2 c firmly packed brown sugar
  • 12 c white syrup
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1 tsp soda
  • pinch of cream of tartar

Directions

  1. Bring sugar syrup oleo and cream of tartar to a boil in large saucepan
  2. Take form heat and add soda this will foam up so start with a large pan
  3. Mix and stir over popped corn
  4. Bake in large roasting pan 1 hour in 200 oven stirring occasionally After cooled store in covered container
