Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage about 4 lb
  • 2 lb lean ground pork can use 12 beef and 12 pork
  • 1 small onion chopped fine
  • 12 c partially cooked rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp butter or margarine approximately
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 14 tsp pepper
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 12 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 12 c water

Directions

  1. Preparing cabbage
  2. Remove core and place head in a large pot of boiling water
  3. Cover and cook 5 to 10 minutes
  4. Separate leaves and cut out heavy ribs
