Buttermilk Brownies

Ingredients

  • 2 c flour
  • 2 c sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 2 stick butter
  • 4 Tbsp cocoa
  • 1 c water
  • 2 eggs
  • 12 c buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • Nuts optional

Directions

  1. Combine flour sugar baking soda and salt set aside Bring butter cocoa and water to a boil
  2. Add dry ingredients Add eggs buttermilk vanilla and nuts
  3. Mix well pour into well-greased 11 x 16-inch pan
  4. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes Do not over-bake
