Bread And Butter Pickles

Ingredients

• 1 gal cucumbers sliced
• 8 small onions sliced
• 1 c salt
• 5 c vinegar
• 4 12 c sugar
• 1 tsp ground cloves
• 1 tsp mustard seed
• 1 tsp celery seed
• 2 tsp turmeric

Directions

1. Dissolve this and let come to a boil
2. Drain cucumbers well and put in mixture
3. Let come to a boil
4. Should make 6 pints
