Applesauce Cookies
Ingredients
- 12 c butter
- 34 c sugar
- 34 c brown sugar
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 c chopped nuts andor 1 c raisins
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 c applesauce
- 2 c flour
- 1 12 c oatmeal
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 c raisins
Directions
- Cream butter and sugars
- Add almond extract eggs vanilla and applesauce
- Mix well
- Blend in flour oatmeal and baking soda
- If desired add nuts andor raisins
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto nonstick cookie sheets
- Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes Yield
- 3 dozen cookies
