Apple Salad

Ingredients
- 1 20 oz can crushed pineapple drained
- 23 c sugar
- 1 3 oz pkg lemon gelatin dry
- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
- 1 c diced apples unpeeled
- 12 c nuts
- 1 c chopped celery
- 1 c whipped topping
Directions
- In saucepan combine pineapple and sugar bring to a boil Boil for 3 minutes add gelatin and stir until dissolved
- Add cream cheese
- Stir cool
- Fold in apples nuts celery and whipped topping
- Pour into 9-inch pan
- Chill until firm 2 hours or so
